When minting and staking, you exchange USDT or USDC for VOW on the open market. The VOW is immediately locked and its USD value is determined at the time of the transaction.
This nominal USD value is then used to mint 1.5 times that amount in v$.

If the VOW price has at least doubled from the exact date and time of your stake, the staked v$ are burned when you unstake. Instead, you receive the corresponding nominal USD value in VOW tokens.
In addition, you receive TLNx equal to 60% of your original deposited amount. The TLNx are paid out daily throughout the full 367-day staking period.
TLNx have a guaranteed 1:1 value against v$.
